PROJECT RELIVE

Rotary Empowering Lives

The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong West, in a powerful joint effort with the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Mandaluyong West, Spearheaded by Jail Officer and President-Nominee Jay Lomongo, focusing on a holistic "Unite for Good" approach to empower the lives of the "Brothers of Malabon BJMP."

The mission's highlights included a robust medical wellness component where 50 PDLs underwent Hepatitis B, C, and HIV screenings in partnership with Viral Free Hepatitis Philippines, assisted by RAC President Tara Ramos, Rtn. Tess Blanco, and student volunteers. To support long-term health, the Interact Club and Kylledmed Philippines donated 100 bottles of Cnergy multivitamins.

Infrastructure and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) needs were met through the donation of a water dispenser by PN Jay Lomongo, a television for the E-Dalaw area by President Angeli, and a hospital bed for the medical ward. Furthermore, the project fueled the facility's livelihood programs with textiles, threads, and recycled paper, while providing spiritual and nutritional care through 100 Bibles and a sack of rice. This multi-faceted outreach was made possible through the professional coordination of Chief Warden Lucky Dionisio and the unwavering generosity of corporate partners and dedicated Rotarians.
